Abstract:

Collection of documents (62 pages) which includes testimonies, surveys, publication of claims, and certification of compliance with official standards regarding claims to six mines in Coahuila: San Estanislao, Los Nunez, San Antonio, San Rafael, Las Animas, and Pabellon. The documents relate to mining in the Coahuila-Texas region by American and European settlers, such as Agustin Martinez, Santiago Hewetson, and Stephen Julian Wilson, as well as the necessary requirements and proceedings for the operation of a mine.
