Abstract:

A collection of 5 letters and 1 separate address leaf written to Sir John Heath and Sir Edward Heath, the sons of Sir Robert Heath. The letters from Thomas Foster, John Hunt and William Vanbrugh concern business matters, but the letter from Alexander Noel concerns the legal case of a carpenter named Daniel Sicklyn who lived on the Heaths' estate in Cotesmore. One letter from Vanbrugh has Edward Heath's response written on an integral leaf.
