Abstract:
This portion of the Bernard Rudofsky papers contains some of his writings, architectural and other design drawings, working and travel notebooks, and photographs. Fifty-six notebooks hold writings and pencil drawings, 33 notebooks document his travels. About 150 drawings are building studies for projects in Brazil, Italy and the United States. Photographs document his exhibition installations and his travels. Also included are illustrated lectures, examples of his fashion designs, and his designs for magazine covers.
