The J. Arthur Younger Papers represent virtually the complete written record of ten years in the House of Representatives
(1954-1964). Almost every aspect of a Congressman's life and duties are covered: elections; House rules and procedure; committee
activity; public and private bills; public opinion; contact with constituents; the extent of obligatory appearances at Washington
and California events.
