Collection of 25 WWI-era buttons.

WWI Booklets, Images, and Insignia ca. 1917-1918.

Scope and Content Note

Booklets include Our Navy and How to Know It, Songs the Soldiers and Sailor Sing , U.S. Army Facts and Insignia, and Posters Issued by U.S. Navy . Also includes a "Home Card" from the Unites States food administration outlining what people can do to help with WWI, small posters for World War I bonds (Fourth Liberty Loan and Third Liberty Loan), and images printed on cardstock roughly 6.5" X 8.5" of General Pershing, Woodrow Wilson, and Marshal Foch.

Scope and Content Note

Correspondence organized alphabetically by creator in a stationery file. Majority of correspondence is to and from immediate family members of the Dean family, as well as letters to Catherine Briggs from family and friends.
