Abstract:
Carroll John Daly (1889-1958) was a crime fiction writer. His publications include The snarl of the beast (1927), Murder won't wait (1933), Mystery of the smoking gun (1936), and Ready to burn (1951). He also wrote dozens of stories for pulp detective magazines and television scripts. The collection consists of 163 typescripts of short stories, a novella, television scripts, clippings, correspondence, legal records, a bibliographical list of Daly's work, and magazines in which Daly is mentioned or his work reviewed.
