Abstract:
Remi Allen Nadeau (1920- ) was a author, editorial writer, and a member of the Friends of the UCLA Library. His published books include City-makers (1948), The water seekers (1950), Los Angeles: from mission to modern city (1960), Ghost towns and mining camps of California (1965), and The real Joaquin Murieta (1974). The collection consists of manuscripts, typescripts, galley and page proofs, correspondence, and research notes for several of Nadeau's books.
