Abstract:
Samuel John Sackett (1928- ) was a professor of English. He taught at Hastings College (1949-51) and Fort Hays State University (1954-1977). In 1978, he became the dean of Salt City Business College. His published works include Kansas folklore (1961), Cowboys and the songs they sang (1967), and Edgar Watson Howe (1972). The collection consists of journals containing articles by Sackett.
