Scope and Content Note
This series contains slides, photographic prints and negatives of the model of the KOHALA that Ron Cleveland built. It also
includes research photographs of another KOHALA model and images of the original vessel. The model that Ron built is a product
not only of his interest in maritime history but also the result of in-depth archival research.

Scope and Content Note
Photographs of the model built by Ron Cleveland. While the photographs are primarily of the model, there are several of Ron
with the model, Captain Fred Klebingat and his wife Irene, Bob Weinstein, and Jo Dee Cleveland.
Contains black-and-white and color slides, photographic prints and negatives.
Arrangement
The photographs have been left in Ron Cleveland's original groupings but they have been arranged in chronological order to
illustrate the progress of construction. It appears that Cleveland created groups of photographs to illustrate certain elements
of his work such as creating the metal pieces or the masts and rigging. Consequently negatives from one roll of film can be
found in multiple groupings.
