Abstract:
James E. Bassett (1912-1978) was born in Glendale, California. He authored several novels, including Harm's Way (1962), The Sky Suspended (1968), and Commander Prince, United States Navy (1971). Harm's Way was later made into a film. The collection consists of manuscript drafts, galley proofs, correspondence, and advertising material related to Harm's Way (1962).
