This collection, which deals with the Mexican War,
consists of correspondence, military orders, reports, lists of prisoners, and paroles of honor, dating
from 1845-1848. The material deals with: troop movements, food and supplies, recruiting and enlistments,
mustering of volunteers, as well as Jalapa, Puebla, Tampico, and Veracruz, Mexico.
The Huntington Library does not require that researchers request permission to quote from or publish images of this material,
nor does it charge fees for such activities.
