This fourteen volume scrapbook collection consists of clippings pasted into official reports issued by the US Post Office
(the volume numbered 5 is only half filled with clippings, and as such the remainder of the report, "Report of the Pstmaster-General"
can be clearly read). The clippings cover a wide variety of topics--literature, music, sports, theatre, society notes, art,
etc. Very few of the sources are identified, although San Francisco, New York, and London are mentioned.
All requests for permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the Manuscripts Librarian.
Permission for publication is given on behalf of Special Collections as the owner of the physical items and is not intended
to include or imply permission of the copyright holder, which must also be obtained.
